The name Manara (منارة) means beacon, lighthouse or source of guidance in Arabic. Our organisation combines professional expertise with faith-based values to deliver practical support that makes a meaningful difference.
Founded by Sheykh Dr. Abdifatah Ali Ahmed — a distinguished Islamic scholar with a PhD in Islamic Sharia (Sharī'ah) and over 20 years of community service — Manara brings unparalleled knowledge, wisdom and dedication to every person we serve.
